LEMON SQUARES 
1 c. melted butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. confectioners sugar

Mix until crumbly but packable. Pack into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly brown. 1/2 tsp. baking powder 4 tbsp. flour Pinch of salt 2 c. sugar 6 tbsp. lemon juice

Heat until blended, then pour over hot crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut, loosen around edges of pan while hot. Sprinkle lightly with confectioners sugar while warm. When cool. Cut into squares. Freezes well.
