SPINACH CASSEROLE 
1 pkg. fresh or frozen spinach (10 1/2 oz.)
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 slices bread (cubed)
3 tbsp. melted butter
Dash garlic salt
Dash red pepper

Wash fresh spinach. Cook in 1/2 cup water. Drain thoroughly, removing all liquid. Combine spinach, soup, egg, cheese, nutmeg. Pour into greased dish. Toss the bread crumbs in melted butter, sprinkle with garlic salt and dash of red pepper. Place on top of spinach and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
