COUNTRY PIE 
GROUP 1:

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1/2 med. chopped pepper
1 med. chopped onion
4 oz. tomato sauce
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano

GROUP 2:

2/3 c. precooked rice
1/2 c. water
12 oz. tomato sauce
Salt to taste
1/2 c. grated cheese

Combine first group, form into crust in 9 inch pie plate. Combine second group except the cheese. Pour over meat crust. Cook covered with foil 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Uncover; sprinkle cheese on top. Cook 10 minutes longer.
