HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. can tomatoes, cut up
3 med. carrots, peeled & sliced
2 med. potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
3 c. water
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 c. frozen or canned green beans (or peas)

Brown beef in a kettle. Add remaining ingredients, except green beans (or peas). Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add green beans (or peas) and continue to simmer 15 minutes more. NOTE: May use canned potatoes and carrots. Add same time as green beans. Serves 6.
