SIBERIAN BELMENY 
3 c. flour
1 egg
Salt
A little water

Mix above ingredients with electric mixer until stiff and sticky (like gummy bears). Roll out on floured board. Cut into 2 1/2 inch circles.

FILLING:

1/2 lb. hamburger
1/2 lb. pork
2 med. onion, finely chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
A little water or milk

Mix together hamburger, pork, finely chopped onion and salt and pepper to taste. Drop a tiny spoonful of meat mixture into center of circle. Fold into a half moon shape. Seal the edges.

Drop dumplings into a kettle of boiling water to which has been added whole peppercorns, bay leaves, cloves and salt. Cover and boil dumplings for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and let sit for 10 minutes longer. Serve with sour cream or vinegar and butter or ketchup. Yield: 100.
