JANNY'S LASAGNE | |
3 lb. ground beef or chuck 3 tbsp. olive oil 4 cloves chopped garlic 1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix 1 1/2 c. water 2 cans tomato paste 2 cans (med.) tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. sugar 1 (12 oz.) box lasagne noodles 1 lb. Ricotta cheese 3 pkgs. Mozzarella cheese Pepperoni and sweet Italian sausage Brown meat in oil with garlic. Brown sausage separately; do not brown pepperoni. Stir in onion soup, water, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt, oregano, and sugar. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Cook noodles; rinse with cold water. Arrange alternate layers of meat sauce, sausage and pepperoni, noodles, Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella. Repeat layers ending with meat sauce. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. |
