OLD FASHIONED POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter
6 eggs
3 c. sugar
4 c. cake flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Let butter and eggs sit out until room temperature. Sift flour; cream butter and sugar. Alternately add the flour, eggs, and milk to butter and sugar mix; add vanilla.

Grease and flour a bundt cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, until toothpick comes out clean.
