CON QUESCO CHEESE DIP 
1/2 stick melted butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
6 oz. American cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Picante hot sauce
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
2 c. milk

Melt butter and combine with dry ingredients, mixing with wire whip. Add pepper, hot sauce and milk. Over low heat, cook until slightly thickened, stirring often.

Add cheese and cook until cheese melts. Serve with assorted chips. NOTE: This dip can easily be made in the microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
