STRAWBERRY PIE 
4 c. sliced fresh strawberries
9 inch pie shell
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello

Place strawberries in cooked and cooled pie shell. Combine the water, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Cook for 2 or 3 minutes longer, until mixture is clear and thick.

Add strawberry Jello powder and stir until it is dissolved. Pour mixture evenly over strawberries. Chill until set. Serve with whipped topping.
