CHEESE POTATOES IN THE MICROWAVE 
6 med. potatoes, unpeeled
8 tbsp. butter
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/2 c. chopped green onions with tops
Paprika for topping

Pierce potato with fork. Don't peel. Put in microwave on paper towel and cook on high for 20 minutes or until done. Do not peel, slice and set aside. Place butter in glass microsafe dish. Cook on high 2 to 3 minutes to melt. Remove and stir in cheese. When cheese melts add sour cream, salt, pepper and onions. Gently stir cheese mixture into potatoes; spoon into 8"x12" microsafe baking dish. Top with paprika. Cook, uncovered on high 7 to 8 minutes. Serves 8.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
