CHEESE BENNES 
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 lb. butter, softened
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. red pepper (cayenne)
1 1/4 c. flour (plain)
1/2 c. roasted sesame seeds
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans

Cream the first 4 ingredients. Add flour and knead. Add seeds and pecans and knead. Form into 4 or 5 long thin rolls. Chill in waxed paper several hours or freeze. Slice rolls into "thin dimes". Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes in greased pan. Keep in tightly covered tin.
