BEEF BURGUNDY 
3 lb. 1 inch beef chuck cubes
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. Burgundy wine
1 can beef consomme (undiluted)
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. pepper
Dash garlic powder
5 sm. carrots, sliced
5 slices diced bacon
2 med. onions, sliced
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms
Cooked noodles

Brown meat in butter in heavy skillet. Add flour and stir while cooking 3 minutes. Add burgundy, consomme, seasonings and correct. Bring to boil and simmer covered for 2 hours. Add more liquid if needed.

Fry onions and bacon together until onions are lightly browned. Drain fat and add to meat along with mushrooms. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve over noodles. Serves 6.
