BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. melted unsweetened cocoa

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour pans. Measure all ingredients into large mixing bowl. Blend 1/2 minute on low. Beat 3 minutes on high. Pour into pans and bake 30 to 35 minutes.

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. whipping cream
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. instant coffee

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
2 c. powdered sugar
3 lg. tbsp. cocoa
