PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
2 instant vanilla pudding mixes (lg.)
2 lg. cans fruit cocktail, drained
2 lg. cans crushed pineapple, drained
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 box shredded coconut
2 lg. (12 oz.) Cool Whip

Make the yellow cake mix into 2 layers according to the directions on the box. Make the vanilla pudding according to the directions on the package.

In a large punch bowl arrange:

First layer - cake

Second layer - 1/2 vanilla pudding

Third layer - 1 can drained fruit cocktail

Fourth layer - 1 can drained pineapple

Fifth layer - 1 can cherry pie filling

Sixth layer - half of nuts

Seventh layer - half of coconut

Eighth layer - 1/2 Cool Whip

Repeat these eight layers a second time. Refrigerate until serving time. Serves 20 to 25 people.
