SANDRA'S CALIFORNIA SALAD 
2 boxes Jello, any size and flavor
1 can tropical fruit, any size or 2 med. bananas
1 sm. tub of Cool Whip

Prepare Jello as directed on box. Put in 2 separate bowls. Chill overnight. When ready to serve, finish preparing salad. If using bananas, cut into pieces, putting half in each Jello bowl and mix thoroughly. If using canned tropical fruit, drain first, then put half in each Jello bowl and mix thoroughly.

In a larger bowl, put one of the prepared Jello bowls in, spread a layer of Cool Whip on top, and spread 2nd Jello bowl on top of Cool Whip. Serve immediately. Garnish with a dollop of Cool Whip in center with a piece of fruit on top (optional).
