COCONUT LOGS 
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. sugar
Dash salt
1 well beaten egg

Cook 6 minutes. Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3 cups Rice Krispies. Cool a little. Roll approximately 2 teaspoons of mixture into log shapes then roll in coconut.
