COCONUT CHINESE CHEERIOS 
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. plain flour
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. dates
2 eggs, beaten

Spread in greased flour pan (12 x 14 inch). Bake at 375 degrees about 20 minutes. Cut in 1 inch squares and roll in balls while warm. Let cool, then ice and roll in Angel Flake coconut.

ICING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
1 sm. beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
