CHICKEN ATOP RICE 
1 1/4 c. rice, uncooked
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 c. water
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken parts
2 tbsp. butter, melted
Paprika
Poultry seasoning

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In 13 x 9 inch baking dish, combine rice, onion, celery, water, soup and mushrooms. Arrange chicken on rice mixture skin side up, drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with paprika and poultry seasoning to taste. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
