SAUERBRATEN MEAT LOAF WITH GLAZE 
2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. pumpernickel bread (1 slice)
1/2 c. crushed ginger snaps (about 10)
2 eggs
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. prepared mustard

GLAZE:

1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
3 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

Meat loaf: Mix all ingredients well.

Glaze: Mix in small bowl and pour over meat loaf. Bake until done. Serves 10.
