2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. salad oil
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. cooked prunes
1 c. chopped nuts
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift dry ingredients together. Add to other ingredients and mix together.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. vanilla

Bring to boil and pour over pudding while hot.
