SWEDISH SPRITZ COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
4 tsp. almond flavoring
4 1/2 c. unsifted flour

Soften butter and cream with sugar. Add egg and almond; mix. Sift in flour; mix well. Let dough set in refrigerator for 30 minutes before putting through cookie press. Decorate before baking with colored sprinkles. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned on edges. If dough is hard add milk not water.
