MELT - IN - THE - MOUTH COOKIES (EA) | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. packed light brown sugar 3/4 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts Cream butter. Add sugar, vanilla and egg. Beat until light. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Drop by scant teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, for about 5 minutes. Cool for 1/2 minutes. Remove to wire racks. |
