MELT-AWAY COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar (powdered)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. Soft-as-Silk cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add flour and salt. Stir thoroughly. Roll into small balls (teaspoon size). Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press thumb into top to flatten slightly. Bake at 400 degrees oven 8 minutes or until set. While warm dip in powdered sugar or cool and ice.
