CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 eggs
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Jam

Combine butter, sugar and cream cheese. Blend in eggs, lemon juice and rind. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Shape level tablespoons of dough and make well in cookie middle with thumb. Place jam in well. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with sugar.
