"BASIC" BOSTON BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. dried sm. white beans
6 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 lb. salt pork

Pour beans into slow-cooking/crock pot. Add water. Soak overnight or at least 6 hours. Cover pot and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or until beans are tender. Drain, saving liquid.
