STUFFED MANICOTTI | |
1 lb. Bob Evans mild pork sausage 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (27 1/2 oz.) Hunt's traditional spaghetti sauce 1 (6 oz.) Hunt's tomato paste 2 1/3 tbsp. brown sugar 1 (8 oz.) Creamette manicotti 1 egg 1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese 1 tsp. parsley flakes 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese 1. Brown sausage, drain, salt. Combine spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, brown sugar, half sausage. Cook 15 minutes. 2. Boil manicotti. 3. Combine egg, Ricotta cheese, 2 cups Mozzarella, parsley, remaining sausage. 4. Stuff manicotti with Ricotta mixture. Pour 1/3 sauce into 13 x 9 x 2 inch casserole; place manicotti in single layer. Cover with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, 1 cup Mozzarella. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes, or until cheese is golden. |
