SOUR CHERRY PUDDING 
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can sour cherries, drained

Mix the above ingredients. Bake in a greased 8 inch pan for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.

SAUCE FOR SOUR CHERRY PUDDING:

Combine 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup canned milk, dash of salt, big gob of butter. Cook slowly, bringing to a boil. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Serve warm.
