FIVE HOUR STEW 
1 1/2 lb. stew meat (do not brown)
1 1/2 c. potatoes (in chunks)
1 c. onion
1 c. celery
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. carrots
1 c. tomato juice
3 tbsp. Minute tapioca
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Combine all ingredients and bake in covered pan 5 hours at 250°F.

Makes its own gravy.
