FIVE HOUR STEW 
2 lb. stew meat
1 green pepper
2 or 3 large potatoes, cut in quarters
5 carrots, cut in pieces
3 onions, halved
1 c. celery, cut up
1 large can tomatoes
1 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. tapioca
salt and pepper to taste

Stir all together to distribute tapioca. Cover and cook in 250°F oven at least 5 hours. May be cooked at 300°F for 4 hours. Do not peek!
