DAD'S BAKED PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops
1 c. uncooked regular rice
3 c. hot water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 med. onion, thinly sliced
1 sm. green pepper, thinly sliced

Trim some fat from chops; heat fat in skillet, then add chops and brown on both sides. In shallow baking dish (about 2 quart), mix rice, water, salt, pepper, and undiluted soup; then add onion and green pepper. Arrange chops in dish, cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes or until chops and rice are tender.
