PRIME RIB SEASONING 
1/2 c. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. Accent

For any 8 pound rib roast. Wash meat and have at room temperature. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Coat meat with some of the seasoning and sear for 1/2 hour at 450 degrees. Then roast the meat at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or 15 minutes per pound. To make a good au jus save all the bones, skin, trimmings and boil for about 2 hours with onions, garlic, carrots, bay leaf and water to cover.
