GREEN BEAN SOUP 
4 c. green beans
6 potatoes
8 slice of bacon
1 c. vinegar
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
Salt if needed

Fill soup kettle with the beans and fill with water. Let this get cooking good so that the beans get tender. Add the potatoes. When the beans and potatoes are cooked through, then you are ready to add the thickening. Fry the bacon until crispy, then cut it into little bits and put it into the soup. Save the bacon grease.
