HAM AND POTATO CASSEROLE 
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
8-10 slices American cheese
1/2 to 3/4 c. ham, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. water (less for a smaller sized dish)
4 med. Idaho potatoes (sliced 1/4-inch thick)

Layer in an 8x8 or 9x9-inch casserole dish as follows: water, sliced potatoes, (salt and pepper), chopped ham, mushroom soup, bits of the American cheese, then repeat the layers beginning with the potatoes. Cover casserole dish and cook on 350-375 degrees for about 1 hour.
