BEEF AND CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
3 strips bacon
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 c. chopped cabbage
1 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. raw rice

Fry bacon until crisp (crumble). Saute beef and onions in 2 tablespoons bacon grease and add all ingredients except bacon. Place in casserole dish. Sprinkle bacon on top and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
