Seeds from pumpkin (hopefully pumpkins were turned into Jack-O- Lanterns)

Boil seeds until water is clear, about 20 minutes, use salted water. Spread on cloth or tray to dry, about 2 days. Spread on cookie sheet in single layer and mix with butter and salt. Heat oven to 350 degrees. After 45 minutes, check by taste to see if crisp. If not, return to oven and check every 15 minutes (up to 2 hours). Let cool.
