BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER 
20 oz. bag frozen broccoli
20 oz. bag frozen cauliflower
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
5 oz. cream cheese
1/2 shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. soft breadcrumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cook vegetables separately. Drain make a white sauce from butter, flour, milk and salt. Cook until thickened, reduce heat and blend in cream cheese. Place vegetables in 1 1/2 quart casserole, pour white sauce over and mix lightly. If making in advance, cool and refrigerate at this point. Take out of refrigerator one hour before baking.

Before baking, top with 1/2 cup shredded sharp American cheese, 1 cup soft bread crumbs mixed with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes.
