PEACH PIE 
2 (16 oz.) cans of peaches
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. of flour
1/8 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Drain peaches. Reserve 1/3 cup syrup. Combine sugar, flour, nutmeg and dash of salt. Add reserve syrup. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add butter, lemon juice and almond extract. Add peaches to syrup. Pour peaches into pie shell. Cover with top pie shell. Cut slit in top cover. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
