FUDGE BARS 
1/2 c. butter
2 sqs. chocolate
2/3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. nuts

Melt butter and chocolate; cool. Mix all ingredients in order given. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Double the recipe for a large pan. Frost with fudge frosting.

FUDGE FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sqs. chocolate
1 tbsp. syrup
7 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Crisco

Boil together for one minute. Cool. Beat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add milk if it gets too thick.
