FUDGE BARS 
FUDGE FILLING:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt

CRUST:

1 c. softened butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour (white)
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. "quick" oatmeal
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix first 4 ingredients for fudge filling in bowl. Melt in double boiler or melt on low to medium setting in microwave oven. Stir well to mix ingredients.

Mix "crust" ingredients in order given. Pat 2/3 of the crust mixture in the bottom of a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Pour the fudge mixture over the crust and spread evenly. Place rest of crust mixture on top of fudge. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
