BREAKFAST BEEF AND VEGETABLES 
6 or 8 oz. dried beef
1/4 c. butter
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
3 c. milk
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, slightly thawed
Toasted English muffins

Tear dried beef into small pieces. In saucepan over medium heat melt butter and cook onion until clear and tender. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add dried beef and vegetables; cook over low heat 10 minutes or until beef and vegetables are tender and heated through. Serve hot over the toasted muffins. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
