DOG BISCUITS 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. dry milk
6 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. water

Cut shortening into wheat germ, salt, flour and milk. Add sugar, egg and water. Make stiff dough. Knead until smooth. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with cookie cutter. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes approximately 36 shapes.
