BANANA FRITTERS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. water
4 bananas
Flour
Oil for deep frying

Stir flour and soda in bowl and add water; mix to smooth batter. Cut bananas into 3 pieces each. Roll lightly in flour. Drop pieces into batter; drain. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper. Serve hot or with ice cream.
