2 unbaked pie crusts
1 egg, beaten
7 med. potatoes, peeled & sliced
1 lg. onion, sliced
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, sliced
1 lb. round or chuck steak, cut into 1/2" cubes
1/4 c. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut steak into 1/2" cubes. Layer potatoes, meat, onions and cheese in crust, ending with the cheese. Drizzle melted butter over top. Cover with top crust and prick holes in top. Baste top with egg. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Take out and set on rack for 30 minutes. Serve with a green vegetable and salad.
