REUBEN PIE
1/2 lb. ground beef (do not brown)
3/4 c. soft rye bread, crumbled (about 1 slice)
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/3 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 can (12 oz.) corned beef flaked
1 can (8 oz.) sauerkraut, drained
4 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
1 (9 inch) deep dish (Pet Ritz) pastry shell

In a mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, milk, onion, egg, mustard, salt and pepper. Add corned beef, sauerkraut and ground beef. Mix well. Place 1/2 of mixture into shell. Sprinkle half of cheese over mixture. Cover with remaining meat mixture. Top with remaining cheese. Bake on cookie sheet at 400 degrees until crust is brown and cheese is bubbly, about 35 to 40 minutes.
