TASTY DINNER ROLLS 
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 c. warm milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
butter for pan

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add melted butter and salt. Add most of the flour. Beat with a wooden spoon until smooth and satiny. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, adding a little flour if necessary. Divide in half. Shape into long loaf and cut the loaf into 6 pieces. Shape into oblong rolls. Place in a greased pan, fairly close together. Slash tops. Flatten slightly with hand. Sprinkle with a little flour. Let rise for about 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees on middle rack for about 15 minutes or until light and golden brown.
