YOGURT DINNER ROLLS 
1 c. plain low-fat yogurt
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 tbsp. grated onion
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. basil (optional)
1 tsp. whole celery seed (optional)
butter to grease bowl & muffin pans

Heat together: yogurt, butter, water, sugar and salt until butter is melted. Cool to lukewarm. In a bowl combine yeast, 1 1/2 cups flour and soda. Add the liquid mixture, add egg and spices. Mix with electric beater for 30 seconds on low then about 3 minutes on high speed.

Stir in the 1 1/4 cups flour. Dough will be moist and rather sticky. Place in greased bowl. Turn over once to coat dough. Let rise until doubled. Knead lightly and make into balls. Place in greased muffin pans. Cover, let rise to double size. Bake at 400 degrees about 10 minutes. Check in 8 minutes. Best served hot or at room temperature.
