BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. sirloin steak, 1/2 inch thick, cubed
1 clove garlic
1 med. onion
2 tbsp. shortening
Flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. can mushrooms, undrained
3 tbsp. catsup (optional)
1 c. beef bouillon (or 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in water)
1 c. sour cream

Cube and flour steak. Brown with garlic and onion in shortening. Salt and pepper. Add mushrooms, bouillon and catsup. Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add sour cream and serve immediately over noodles.
