CHICKEN KIRSHNER 
3 chicken breasts, halved
1 c. white wine
3 tbsp. butter
2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1 can mushrooms
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli
1 c. scallions, chopped
1 1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 can toasted onion rings
1 1/2 c. shredded Gruyere or Muenster cheese

Simmer chicken in wine and butter 15 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside. Add soup, chicken broth, mushrooms and salt to wine. Heat through. Cook noodles in boiling water until not quite tender (2 to 3 minutes). Drain; rinse with cold water and drain.
