FRIED CABBAGE & NOODLES 
1 head cabbage
6-8 slices bacon
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. egg noodles
Salt & pepper to taste

Slice cabbage as for slaw. Fry in bacon grease slowly with salt and pepper until brown. Stir often as it will stick. Boil noodles. When tender, drian and mix with cabbage. Good served with sour cream.

Helpful Hint: Lemon juice added to rice water will keep the grains separated.
