1 1/2 lb. round steak 2 tbsp. shortening 3 c. chopped green onions 1 c. sliced black olives 2 (5 oz.) cans bamboo shoots 3 (3 oz.) cans mushrooms 2 cans water chestnuts 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1/3 c. soy sauce 2 tbsp. sugar Rice Cut meat and brown in hot shortening. Add all other ingredients except last 4 items. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, and sugar and add to sauteed items. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Serve over rice. |
